RUSS ANDREWS PUBLISHES NEW BOOK TO HELP MUSIC LOVERS GET THE MOST OUT OF THEIR HI-FI.
Drawing on over 30 years experience in the hi-fi industry, Russ Andrews has published his latest book, Sound Solutions, as the definitive guide to achieving a more musical hi-fi system. Russ is regarded as one of the leading experts in the field of system improvement and has developed his tried and tested “Upgrade Path” for systems, which is the subject of this new publication.
With a foreword by the respected industry figure, Ken Kessler, the book starts with an explanation to Russ’ sometimes controversial views on why existing hi-fi systems often don’t work. The book continues with an outline of the upgrade path required to make well reviewed and respected equipment reproduce music more faithfully.
An in depth chapter on the importance of the mains follows, with advice on simple and cost effective changes that can be made to dramatically improve the musicality of the system. Russ has spent 30 years researching the effects of the mains supply on systems and so it is no surprise that this forms a major element of the book.
