Taga

The performance improvements that the Taga brings to a system are considerable and the gains in excitement and emotional connection that you'll get from your music will be significant.

Taga

The Taga distribution block combines the practicality of a multi-way block with the RFI performance of the Silver Jaya mains filter and the acoustic absorption of a Roraima mains lead, all rolled into one.

The Silver Plus Jaya filter is housed in an internal module which contains all the filtering circuit, with its own acoustic absorbtion, and is wired with solid-core silver wire with Teflon insulation (even too and from the filter fuse holder!).  A second module contains an acoustic absorbtion labyrinth, through which pass the main conductors comming in from the IEC inlet socket.  The live, neutral and Earth outputs from this module then form common binding points from which all the sockets are star-wired.  The Silver Plus Jaya filtering is connected at this point too.  All the current-carrying conductors are silver-plated OFC with extruded PTFE insulation.

The Taga distribution block is housed in a high quality alluminium case measuring 360mm x 120mm x 120mm.  It weighs approx 5kgs.

The standard UK model is fitted with 6 unswitched MK 13A sockets.  Tagas fitted with European Schuko and US type sockets will be available soon.

Power input is via a Furutech IEC socket fitted at one end-plate.  Adjacent to the socket is the fuseholder for the filter and an Earth binding post.

The performance improvements that the Taga brings to a system are considerable.  Yes, it combines the performance of a Silver Jaya and a Roraima (see Silver Plus Jaya and Roraima) but the result is actually more than the sum of the parts.  In particular, the acoustic absorption embodied within the Taga is more comprehensive than that of the Roraima, and this translates into demonstrably more clarity and dynamics in the performance.  Overall, when you use a Taga you will get all the convenience of the 6 outputs with a massive improvement in transparency, detail, imaging, pace and timing.  The gains in excitement and emotional connection that you'll get from your music will be significant.

The price of the 6-way Taga with UK 13A sockets is £795.00 (inc VAT).
