The Eidos 20 family consists of 4 digital wonders like no other...
The Eidos 20 is the latest evolution of the High-end line of Goldmund Players. A new family of players especially designed for the low rotational speed of CD.
20A - CD/SACD Player
20T - CD/SACD Transport
20D - Universal Player
The Eidos 20A, 20D and 20T Players take disc reading precision to a whole new level! They do this by using a combination of “Mechanical Grounding” construction and the “Magnetic Damper”. “Magnetic Damper” Technology previously, was exclusive to Goldmund’s high-end line only.
The power supply in these models uses an isolation transformer with built-in Goldmund “Sweeter” circuitry, ensuring the minimum of interference.
“ The Eidos 20A is a CD/SACD player, the Eidos 20T is a CD/SACD Transport and the Eidos 20D is a universal player with HDMI 1.3 Video output. ”
Built-in 2-ch and 6-ch D/A converters in the Eidos 20A and 20D may be used for practicality, but they perform best when playing CD’s through the digital Audio Output, available both on SPDIF and Toslink.

Blu-ray is the next level in digital performance and the Eidos 20BD shows with ease - just why!
Goldmund signature features found on the Eidos 20BD include the “AC-Curator” power supply circuit, which dramatically improves picture, sound stability and dynamics. “Mechanical Grounding” construction ensures the removal of mechanism spurious vibrations, which blur the video signal and increasing jitter.

The Eidos 20BD also uses the Goldmund “Magnetic Damper”, which previously was exclusive to Goldmund’s high-end line only. It lowers the reading errors, ensuring greater accuracy.
